CADET TOUR OF CANADA.

NEW ZEALAND CONTINGENT ' TO GO. Per Press Association. TVdling'ton, April. 10. The Government has decided to send -2(i senior cadets to Canada in response to an invitniion to compete at the Canadian National Exh JLi tion at Toreiito 1 . The competitions consist of drill, physical drill and shooting matches. The contingent will leave iti time to arrive at Toronto on or just before August 2">th next. The Canadian authorities undertake to provide all transport by sea and rail, also lo provide accommodation, Cadets to be eligible must pass a medical lest, their height must be eft Pin to aft 9in, chest relaxed 31iu to 32in, inflated 34in, age 1(1 to IS. They must have been efficient cadets from the age of .14, smart at drill and good shots. Each military district is io supply five senior cadets, Before leaving, for Canada the Iboys will train in or nc-ar Wellington for a month, lining absence from home they will be nvjuirrd to devote part of each day to school work. Service with the contingent will count as qualifying service 'mder tho Defence Act.
