A visit paid by the Customs officials to a building used by the Wellington Steaml Ferry Company at Eastlborne on Monday morning last, resulted in the; seizure of a quantity of paint, In consequence of the seizure informations navei Iften sworn by, Mr C. The tramp steamer. Neptune called at Wellington for bunker coal on the 3rd March last while on her voyage lrom Port iKembla to Fall mouth with grain. She remained at anohor in the stream ofl Kaiwarrawara till the morning of the Bth instant, and then proceeded to England. It is alleged that during her stay in port the paint mentioned was .transferred from the steamer to the pilot, and thence conveyed to Eastbourne. The Hon. J. A.
