WOOL SALES.

Per Press Association. Napier,, December 1. Tlie second series of Napier wool sales were held to-day, 12,000 odd bales Irinj; offered to a large attendance of buyers. The 'bidding was spirited, iDore especially for strong wools, and Bradford buyers were large operators. Prices for finer wools were a shade lower than at the previous sales. Two lots of super halted realised 13d, being-the highest price obtained. Fine crossbred averaged from lOd to 11-d. The top price for -halfbred was 12d, or -a farthing less than at last sale. The Americans were not 'buying. The classing of some varieties unfavorably affected prices.
