Port Darwin, March 21. •A Chinese burglar entered a room of Disver Hughes, in the Club Hotel. Hughes attempted to capture the intruder, who used a knife, and inflicted a slight wound, and escaped, A eonstable saw the Chinaman running away, and fired three shots. Tho dead body of tho Chinaman was found at daylight in the bush, two shots 'having taken effect. ;
