(On Friday night Gisbomo will be reached, and Saturday will ba spent in visiting tho Tori Estate, Recently acquired compulsdrily ;'utide'r,tho Lands for Settlement Act, while Simday will bo passed in Gisborne, During the second week tho Minister will .nuilte his way further north along tlio coast; reaching Tolngo' Bay mp Mon day, January' 20th, Waimata. on Tuesday, returning to Gisborrto nil Wednesday, and taking train to Tepiilw, wlicro lio will spend the night. Thursday ovoning will, if tlio proposed' itinerary, is adhered to, see .the travellers nt Motu, from which they ' will rido on' horseback next day to Opotiki. On Satilrday a very heavy day's travelling is contemplated, commencing a sixt'een-milo drive to Whakatano, thence to Rotorua, sovonty miles, by motor car. On tho following Monday (January- 27th) the Minister will travel to Taumaranui by , train ; on Tuesday, January 28tli, from Taumaranui by train and coach to Knetnhi. Ho intends spending a complete day in this rapidly developing centre on the main trunk railway; mid - oil Thursday it is his intention to roach Tnilmpe. On January 31st liq will travel from Tailmpo to Wellington. Another lengthy tour will bo commenced by the Minister of Lands a week nftor his return from tho East Coast. Tlio country to bo covered will be the West Coast of tho ■ Soutli Island.
