A reporter went sec the young lady he is keeping company with, onu Sunday evening. She met him at the door with a colourless face. "Oil, Tom !" she cried, in an agitated voice, "we have had such iv scare ! Ma was coming down stairs and she caught her foot in the carpet and went the whole length—"
