As a result of liis enquiries, Dr Baltewell authorises the Chronicle to say that ho is perfectly satisfied as to tho bona fides of every caso which came under his notice, and ho 110 longer doubts ' the genuineness of their fasts, and considers that what he has seen 'and heard is sufficient to warrant him in making a thorough scientific study of tho wholo question, Ho proposes to dovoto considerable timo ;to this work, and upon its completion he embody tho result of his investigations, together with tho conclusions at which lm arrives, in a .series' of articles for the ,press. i '
