The price has generally improved slightly, especially in Oermany, where there is much activity in anticipation of higher duties. Cargoes are <|uiet at 31s asked for oil const, and October shipment, Australian m Spot (supply limited) His. New Zealand is firmer for short berried at 29s (id, long berried ,30s. Flour is dearer. London 23s fid, filasgow 255. Uusiness is small, 23s fid it for tine brands on passage. Butler is quiet. Daiijsh 120s, choices', colonial 112s, a few lots lUs, tho small supplies enabling the prices to ixi maintained, though demand is p/ior. Iron, 53s lid.
Bradford wool is quiet, with a moderate turnover. Common sixties 25; d, supers 285 d.
