The first was that a ohild of his, 10J years of' age, had been operated on without his oonsent. The second was that first his daughter and later himself had been rudely treated and insultd by the resK dent surgeon on visiting ths hospital incidentally.' Dunne alleged that hi» : , children contracted scarlet fever In the hospital, is to the operation, which was merely the lancing of a superficial abscess, though Dunne got the idea that something important wjs done, requic ing an hour's work.
