TATTERSAtLS. Tho Now Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, report holding a large sale of draught horses at the above yards on Saturday last. .Mr A. Thomson had his entry of 40 Sydney draughts forward. These were a nice even lot of horses, but, if anything, were rather on tho light' sido for the Oamarti market. There was a very large attendance, and much interest was taken in the sale. Tho demand was brisk, and good sorts raised strong competition. Best draughts realised L4O to L 10; medium, L 33 to L3S; old and inferior sorts, Lls to 130; .spring carters, LlB to L' 27. Owiug to the lateness of tlie hour tho light horses mot rather a iwor sale, tliore being little or no demand.
