(by telegraph.) Dunhdin, November 18. Fat Cattle—lß3 head were yarded, principally prime ox of medium weight. The supply was more than sufficient, and all through the sale was dull and lifeless. Prime ox beef, 20s pel lOOlbs ; secondary and cow, 17s to 19s. Fat Sheep.—2l47 were penned, principally good crossbred wethers. The effect of the stoppage of the freezing works was veiy noticeable, and pi ices receded from Is to 2s per head compared with last week. Pigs. —lsl were penned, all finding a ready sa'e at prices m favor of vendors. Suckers, 7s 6d to 13s ; slips, 14s 6d to 17s ; stores, 18s to 21s ; porkers, 23s 6d to 27s ; baconers, 35b to 425; a few extra heavy, to 65?.' Wheat. —Millers take all utder offer (but the quantity is rery limited) at prices which show a rise ef Id to 2d over last woek'B quotations, and there is ev.ry indication of a further rise. Inferior and fowls feed are very scarce, and for any offering high prices are paid. Prime velvet, 4s 6d to 4s.B£d ; Tuscan, 4s 6d to 4s 8d; medium sorts, 4a 5d to 48 7d; inferior and chick feed, a shade less. Oats. — Shippers continue to operate freely, and stocks all round are found to 1 c very light, some of the principal oat districts being reported to bo entirely cleared out* Quotations are very firm, with an upward tendency. Prime milling, 2s lJjd to 2s 2Jd; short bright feed, 2s Id to 2s 2d; medium, 2s; inferior, Is lOJd to Is 1.1 id (aaokß extra). Barley —Stocks are fast being reduced, principally for feeding purposes, and„prices are a shade better. Malting is now practically out of season. Prime malting, 2s 611 to 2* 9d j feed, Is lOd to 2s 3d (sacks extra).
