Messrs Donald Reid and Co. report that prices at their anction sale on Monday were as follows : Oats, — Bidding was very slack, and tbe few lots sold show a decline of Id to IJd per bushel. As buyers evinced no disposition to operate we passed the balk of our catalogue in. We quote prime milling, 2s lsd to 2s 2d ; good to best feed, 2s to 2s l£d ; inferior to medium, Is 9d to Is lid per bushel (sacks extra). Barley. — Ihe demand for prime malting is good, and bright plump lines of this description sell readiiy at 2s 3d to 2s 6d ; medium malting,' 2s 2d to 3s Id ; feed and milling, 2a to 2s 6d per bushel (sacks extra). Potatoes. — Old Derwents are now quito unsaleable. A few lines of kidneys reached ns in time for to-day's sale, and as the market is somewhat bare these topped last week's quotations by about L 2 per ton. B«tt kidneys, L8 to L8 10s ; others, L 6 to L 7 ; Derwents, 12s 6d to 20a per ton (sacks in). Chaff. — Supplies forward are quite sufficient to satisfy immediate requirements, and values are slightly easier. Best oaten sheaf, L 3 7s 6d to L 3 12s 6d ; medium, L 3 to L 3 5s per ton (bags extra).
