The prizes were given away yesterday afternoon by Mr Stratford, who is spending a short vacation in Oamaru, After a short Hervice Mr Stratford expressed the pleasure, mingled with regret, which ho felt in complying with Canon Goulds request to distribute the prizes • pleasure at meeting so many old faces, and regret both in feeling that his life was spent so far from St. Luke's Sunday School, and also at missing so many who, both as teachers and scholars, had been associated with him formerly. He then gave the scholais some advice about the Christian way of spending Christmas. The following is the prize list : Girls.
