A special meeting of the Chamber of Commerce is called tor Wednesday to discuss the tariff proposals. At a meeting of members of the Dunedm Stock Exchange a resolution. w»s pissed strongly protesting ag-iinst the proposed new clauses in cht» Mining Companies Act Amendment Bill as being an unwarrantable interference with the libery of the subject, and a gross iufringement of their lights as citizens.
