NAPIER. June 20.

After two days trial, John Restall, charged with poisoning nine employers of the Patoka station, wa3 found not guilty. At the last session of the Supreme Court ho was put on trial, bub the jury were unable to agree. The jury tacked a rider to the verdict to the effect that poisous kept on stations should be more carefully guarded under lock and key, and in charge of the manager only. Two men named Near and Hudson went out fishing in an open boat yesterday morning, but did nob return at nighb with the other boats. As no sign of them could be seen this morning, a steamer and several sailing vessels went out, but up to the presoob time no trace of the boat or the men has been found.
