Xifc .Sheep.— 27sl wore penned, of which IM7 wcto meiinoy, Bidding at the commencement was slow, but improved somewhat uu the sale progressed, but on the average prices to-day would show a drop of la Od to 2s per head, compared with those of last week. Crossbred ewo< in particular were very difficult to quit. Best crossbred wethers brought 14s {)d to 10s 9d, a few pens extra heavy Irom 17s to 18s Od ; medium to good, Ifa to Ms 3d ; light, 8s 3d to 12s ; best do, owes, 12s to 13s Od ; light weight*, 8s to 12s ; merino wethers, 0s 6d tolls 3d. ■ Wheat.— There it* nothing new to report. Milloio Hccm to have a fair supply on hand, and aro consequently indifferent about buying other than best velvet, and any ousting is readily placed at up to quotations. Fowls' wheat it, not over plentiful, and although buyers could do with a good deal more air not disposed to opcrato when any advance i«j demanded.
