OMARAMA RACES.
Theso races were held last Friday, and tho day boing fine a great many pooplo turned up for tho sport. All tho ovents wore well contested, and with the exaeptfon of tho trob ovorything wont off satisfactorily. Tho owner of Dolly in tho trot, when entering, did not give all hor porformancos, consequently tho handi* capper gave her what in racing is known «s u "chuck in," and a protest being entered, the matter haa boon loft for the Dunedin Jockey Olub to decide.
