Along the back Patron moved up among tho loaders, and passing the sheds was at the front, with Paris coming fast behind. In tho straight Patron was hotly pursued by Paris, Eureka, Brockleigh and Bungebah, but tho chestnut hold his own, and woo comfortably, Paris boating Eureka by half a length, Brockloigh fourth, Loyalty and Bungebah next. Bonnie Scotland and Chesterman challenged him at the back, but tho Derby winner had had enough of it at tho sheds, and foil back beaten. Cobbity came with a rush in the straight, and for a moment looked like winning. All three wore under tho whip, but Nobleman held his own, and won by a length. Time, 2mins llsccs. Wyoombe Stakes. The Possible was still in front entering tho straight, but soon after was done with.
