Mr Perceval has proposed to Ministers that New Zealand and Victoria shall take joint action to urge the British Government to enforce the provisions of the Margarine Act, which is now a dead letter. He thinks the colonial butter trade would benefit if the Act were strictly oarried out. A death from cholera has occurred ab Cork. Mr W. R.
