WHAT A BOHEMIAN IS.
We often read of some person who • leadi a Bohemian life.' What does it mean 1 Quite a history is suggested by the word Bohemian. The first gypsies who reached Paris fire hundred jears ago or 80 oatne from B homis, They wandered around without settled residences, and in time any man or woman who seemed to have no regular way of Hying wai called a Bohemian. A Bohemiau nowadays is • person who doesn't do things the way every one else does them. For inatanoo, the man who eats many fifty-oeat table d'hote dinners is considered a Bohemian ; a woman who smokes a cigarette is dreadfully Bohemian; ad newspaper men are Bohemian?, beoauie they never get to bed until daylight and take breakfast in tha afternoon. And, furthermore, no Bohemian otllfl himself bo, any more than a newspaper man calls himself a journalist,
