The following is tho Corn Exchange report (per N. P. Meyers, secretary) for tho week cuding I riday, October 16th, 1891 : The wheat market has been somewhat disturbed, owing to report«d purchasca at r considerable riso on laat week's quotation*. Whether • maintenance of theie ex treme rate* can be looked for is somewhat doubtful, though that wheat is likely to command full value for some time seems to be generally acknowledged. Oats— Littlo or no business doing. Barley — A few parccls have changed hands in prime malting ; feed it neglected. Beam and Peas— But few offering ; stocks in growers' hands are light, and any good lines would find a market at quotations. Grass Seed— The season in rflmoat over, and distributors compliin of xhi «mall demand this season. The recent wet weather may cause a slight enquiry yet. Potatoes are unsaleable. Dairy Produce — A "showery spring" seems to be our good fortune this year, and butter is consequently in good supply. Our quotations aro as follows : Wheat— Tuscan, 4s 9d to 4s lOd : Pearl, 4s 7d to 4s 8d ; Hunters, 4s 6d. Oats— Milling, Is 9d to Is lOd ; stout km], Is 8d ; inferior, Is6d to Is 7d, Barley — Prime malting, 3s; second quality, £»• 4d to 'Ja 6d ; feed, Is lOd to '2m Ud. Pea«— Blue Prussian, 2s 9d to 3s ; other sorts, 2s 6d to 2s 8d. Beans, 2s 8d to 2s lOd. Potatoes— No-ninal. Grass Seed— Machine-dressed. 5s to 5s 3d. Cocksfoot- 4Jd to 6Jd. Butter— 6d to6Jd. Clieeec— 4Jd. The abo\ e are the prices paid to farmers for (Ulnery, fob, Lyttelton, sacks extra.
Ninian Hyslop and Co. 'a "Imperial, 1 Teas when once tried will be always used. They are strong and flavory.
