Stromboli is tho favorite for tho Caulfield Guineas, and 5 to 4 is his price. Strathmoro, Z*linski and Dillon are looking remark* ably well. Tim first is second favorite for tho Guine\s at 7 to 2. Sainfoin, who is in splondid trim, is a good outsider. Bungebiih is still firm for tho Caulfield Cup, but outsiders don't like him. Sadimand and Wild Rose aro equal favorites for tho Toorak Handicap at 6 to 1, Mitra coming next at 7 to 1, Portland and Elonard will run well. Megaphone is easier for tho Melbourne Cup at 100 to 8, the same price as Vengeance. Despite his penalty, public opinion is firm aboub Marvol putting down Bungebah tomorrow. Melos, Gatling, and Sir William wound up a strong mile and fire furlongs gallop in 3mins Bsocs, Melos moving splendidly, whilst Gatling was much quieter than usual. Megaphone has receded to 100 to 7 for tho Melbourne Cup, and his stablo com* panion Carbine has advanced to the sarao price. Glenloth his been supported for tho Melbourne Cup tw win L10.000 at 100 to 4, and Whimbrol is being backed at 100 to X Bandit and Leviathan are scratched for the Melbourne Cup.
