Sydney, November 19. In the JJou.se of Assembly last night, Mr Thomas Walker, member for Northumberland, moved the introduction of a Bill authorising the Government to grant loans to trades unions for the purpose of establishing businesses on tho co-operative principle. The motion was lost by a large majority.
