There are no transactions mean time of any importance to report. Store Sheep.— 'A moderato amount oi business is being transacted, but buyei s have lately been exercising more caution, and, no doubt owing to the continued drought, fewer purchases are being made The descriptions chiefly in demand tuv cross-bred wethers and ewes, 2, 4, and >> tooth. There is also some enquiry f»v young merinos, while full-mouthed crossbreds and merinos of both sexes have locs attention. At the samo time some of tin; latter ar» being placad. S r ieepskin».— An excellent demand eon tinues to be experience 1 for both green ami dry skins. On Tuesday, the regular week!} gale day, we presented^ a full catalogue. Country dry cross-bredi, inferior to medium, brought Is 4d to 4s 4dj dodo, merino, 1* 3d to Is 0d ; medium to full-woollod cross' breds, 4* Sd to 7s 3d ; do do, merino, 3* lid to 6s 3d ; dry pelts, 4d to Is 2d ; green cross-breds, best, 2s lOd, 2s 9d. 2s Bd,2s(M, 2s 4d ; good to medium and inferior, 2s 3d. 2» 2.1, 2* Id, 2«, Is lid, la 9d, laBd ; green lambskins, 3s, 2» lid, 2» 9d, 2u Bd, 2s 6d, 2<? 4d, 2s 2d, 2-1, and U 9J. Kabbitskins.— The market is stilt baro of supplier. The only business pissing is confined to the disposal of a few »vmm r ski'is coming forward. A good demand exists. Good summer and spring skins fetch 7d to 81 ; inferior to medium, 4d to 6d ; suokers, lid to 3d per Ib. Grass Seeds.— The maiket for rye-grass seeds is very drm, and s ghtly higher prices being obtained for chan samples. We Suote machine*dressed, '■'» Od to 4s 6d ; un itised, 2i to 3a (ex store). There ii :• improvement in the demand for cock -foot, and only lal 'able at prices holders are unablo to ucuept. We qnote (nominal) 2 Jd to 4Jd perlb. Chaff. — Owing to consignments coming to hand more freely during the past two weeks the supply exceeds the demand. Prices ■how a downward tendency. We quote prime oaten sheaf, screened, 50s to 52s 6d ; inferior to medium and mixed, 25s to 47s Cl per ton.
