AUCKLAND. January 30.
The Premier of Raratooga waited oo Lord Onslow thia morning and presented a loyal address of congratulation as children of Great Britain, expressing their pleasure at being present upon the celebration of the New Zealand jubilee. Lord Onslow replied suitably. The Sydney cricket team arrired yesterday af ternooo by the Arawata, and were welcomed by the officers of the Auckland Cricket Astoetatiou. They witt commence the match againU Auckland to-day in the Domain. After the Orangemen had presented their address to the Governors yesterday, the Grand Master of the Order (Mr Fan-ell) was waited upon by the President (Mr White) vA the Secretary of the Hibernian Society, who cordially shook hands with him and STpmsssd their concurrence With the ««ntim— »t» Jjniyfain+ri fa the Orange address. Mr White mid that he was very much pleased at the large assemblage of Orangemen, and wished tt to be understood that the feeling of Hibernians towards the Orangemea was one of extreme cordiality; particularly on an occasion like the present one they were anxious that a feeling of amity should exist between the two RfHi'tta'ee Grand Master Farrell said thai nothing had delighted him more than this expression of amity and goodwill. He warmly reciprocated the good feeling shown towards the Order by the Hibernians, and offered his hearty cob* gratolations to them.
