A scrutiny of tho Newton electoral roll, as demindod by Mr Tole, was held today by Mr B^ale, returning officer, aud sera infers. They found th^t four oases of doub'e voting occurred in connection with the Newton elec'jou. Should Mr Tole per>ht in his request lha votes will be examined.
