By Electric Telegraph — Copyright, (special to press association. ) Received Novtmber J, at 0 50 p.m. Melbourne, Norember 1. The weather was nice and cool this morning for training purposes. Trenton yesterday did the best mile of the seaeoo, and this morning was sent two miles at a moderate pace. Ban Bolt, Kingfish, Crossfire, Lancer, Bravo, Lord William, Commotion, Arsenal, Britisher, Sheet Anchor, and Recall -were out, and did a serviceable gallop, finishing well. Metal was sent a good gallop, and finished very strongly. Malua is in ip'endid condition, and compassed a mile and a half in fine style. Kitawa did a good gallop over the Cup distance. Cyclops spurted for a mile, finishing well. At Caulfield yesterday Little John did a splendid performance over tvo miles, and Silvermine and Highland Chief were sent a mile and a half, moving freely. In the Derby on S-iturday, when rounding the home turn, Cbesham did not roll Volcano on to the rail, but the laiter horse tripped. Trident, who was behind these two, had to pull out and go right round the horses.
