April 29. It has been raining heavily here all day, and in many para the Btreetu have been flooded. The Avon overflowed slightly in some places, but no damage has been reported. Last night over two oohea of ruin fell. This evening there is a partial cessation of the storm.

Mr D, Beeae, M.H.R. for Stanmore, addressed his constituents to-night, and received a vote of confidence from a meeting numbering about 40 persons.
