October 12. The damage done to the breakwater by the last week's storm was found to be not so very serious, and repairs were finished on Saturday night. The Wellington Post's statement that 300 feet had subBided ia not correct. One sec'ion oly had been undermined by the sea, and had subsided about a foot.
