On the 4th of April a Conservat ; ve Working Men's Constitutional Club was

opened in Ycovil. At the luncheon Colonel Povet read a letter which had been received from Sir Stafford Northcote, who referring to thech- ap loaf, said : '• It ia worth while to remind the people that it was not given by the Liberals, but by a Conservative Ministry, ot which Sir Robert Peel was the chief.
