Favored with continued fine weather during the week, harvest operations have been pushed forward vigorously. Some business has transpired in the new crop, more especially in oats. In another week or two, prices of wheat will be definitely aecertainahlo. Few sales, up to the piesent, have transpired.
Wheat— Sound old milling ia quoted at 3s to 3s Id. Little, however, haa been done. Now Beaßon's hao not been Bold in quantity to fix rates, but 2a Gd to 2a 9d ia asked for immediate delivery.
O»ta — Considerable parcels of new crop have been brought forwsid flu ring the week. Prices are qa-tod at la lid to 2a f.o.b. Lyttelton for immediate wants. Lees money ia ('Uoiing for la er lots say, Is Sd to Is 9d. Barley — There are buyers for the new crop at 3a Gd to 3s 9A for pood rr alting, and for tip-top atmples up to 3s lid to 49.
Flour— Milleru still quote L 8 to L 9, aa cording to brand.
Grass Seed— Ryegrass hsa been taken at last week's quotations. Cocktfoot samples Aro now Appearing. Sellers are asking 3£d. Buyers offer 3d. It is not expected that it will come forward freely for ano'her fortnight.
Dairy Produce — Butter, 6d to 7d : chceso, 4d to 4^6.
