Hcnco, it has been thought desirable to invite tho Manufacturers of Europe, America, and Australia, as woll as of Now Zealand itself, to asiist in holding in CHItTSTOHUKCH-as the most con-rally situated city — an , INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION OF ARTvS AND INDUSTRIES. REGULATIONS. 1. Applications for space, with full particulars of the intended exhibit, can bomdao at once at the offico of the undersigned, and will be received up till the Ist February,
2. The ordinary charge for space will be two shillings for each of the first twenty square feet, and one shilling for every additional square foot ; but oxhibitors desiring a frontage to tho Main Avenue for their cases can obtain it on payment of an addi'ionnl five shillings per foot of such frontage, irrespective of depth. A pnssage of from two to three feet will bo loft round each case when desired, and exhibitors desirous of having spaces against tho wall should mention tho fact at the time of application. Spooial arrangements for the purchase at five guin«>ns a piece of bays, having twelve feet frontage by fifteen feet depth, can be made, but exhibitors purchasing snob bays must leave their own passage! inside them. All applications must be accompanied by payment of the full amount for the space. 3. vSpace in the Exhibition Grounds can be obtained at the rate of one guinea for tho firbt one hundred square foot, and one penny for ovory additional square foot, 4 The general reception of articles in the Exhibition Building will commence on Ist of March, and ceaso tho Saturday bofore tho opening, after which date no exhibits can ho received, and all vacant spaces become forfeited. 5. All exhibits must bo removed within ton days after the close of the Exhibition, after which time they will be removed and stored at the risk and expenso of tho owner. 6. Exhibits will bo admitted in bond, and can only bo sold to bo delivered at tho close of the Exhibition ; but exhibitors who wish to make sales with immediate delivery must pay duty in advance together vith a license fee of L 2 10s per, week per stand, payable in advance 7. All fittings, show cases, shelving, etc, which exhibitors require must be provided at their own oxponse. 8. The executive reserve tho right of rojecting any proposed exhibit, and the introduction of dangerous or offensive substances }s strictly prohibited. , 9, Every precaution will bo taken for tho safe preservation of all exhibits against theft Or fire ; but tho executive can undertake no responsibility for accidents however caused. 10. Gold, silver, and bronzo medals will be awarded to exhibits showing espooinl merit. 11. An official catalogue will be published. 12. The right of amending or altering these regulations is reserved. 13. Full information upon' all question! of detail can be obtained on application to W. Tl.
