At a meeting of the Bluff Boating Club last night it was decided to send a crew to compete for the Clvunpion four oared | prize at tho forthcoming Henley regatta. | The polling for the Mat.uir.i election I has resulted as follows : — Wsuhopai : Shanks, 124 ; Kinross, 174. Campbelltown : Shanks. 14 ; Kinross, 13. Gore : Shanks, 40 ; Kinross, J2. Mataura Bridge : Shanks. 43 ; Kinross, 3. Woodlands : Shanks, nil ; Kinross, 31. Wyndham : Shmiks, 52 ; Kinross, 3. This gives a total of 288 tor Mr Shanks, and 249 for Mr Kinross. One return hat yet to come in, but it will, in all probability, only augment Mr Shanks' majority.
