AUCTION EERS' RE PORTS.
Mr A. H. MiriiE reports that lie held a sale on Satuulay of va'uablo freehold and leasehold proportion situated in (Xunaru and the township of Ngapara. Of several sections offered, he only Mirrjcde I in disp wing of section 1, block LII., O.unaru Town, with improvements thereon, for the sum of L 285, to Mr Win. Aitken. A cottage for removal, situate on section 5, block VI., Oamarti Town, was Bold to Mr Denaino, for L 7 ss. Tho Corporation leasehold of section 14, block LIV., with about 11 years to run, at L 2 8s per annum, together with all improvements, was sold to Mr G Smnptor, for the sum of LlO5. He also offered a prime lot of Akaroa cliceso, but only succeeded in placing a few small parcels at 8d pur lb. Mr Greenfield reports having sold by auction at his mart Tyno street, on iVaturday, gecae, fowls, drapory, &c. (lecse, 14s to 12a per pair ; fowls, 4s to 4s 6d ; pullets, 2s (3d ; raisins (Klemo), 5Jd per lb. ; roll bacon (last year's) 3 1 ; drapery, at fair prices An electioneering shillelagh waa knocked down to Mr O'Mcagher for Cd, amidst some merriment.
