The schooner Colonist, Captain Bailey, arrived on Saturday from Lyttolton, in ballast. She comes hero to load Hour for the Waitara, for Messrs Hassoll, Son, and Co. The Government »teamer Stella, Captain M'Kenzie, arrived in porfc at 9 o'clock on Friday night en route for Port Chalmers. She sailed again for her destination at 1 1 o'clock ou Saturday morning. The Union Steau.ship Company's p. 8. Samson, Captain Jones, arrived at tho Break* water at about 4.15 p.m. yesterday from Duuedin, bringing 40 tons general cargo and a large number of passengers. She leavos •gain for Dunedin at «">.30 p.m. this day. The Garron will be brought inside the Breakwater today, aud will commence discharging as soon as possible.
