Nomination, 3 soys, with a Sweep of 3 soys for all accoptors, the sweep to go to tho second horso. Weights to bo declared after tho Waitaki County Cup has been run. Consolation Handicap, of 40 soy?, for all beaten horses. Entry, 1 soy; acceptance, 1 soy, tho acceptance to go to tho second horso ; about 2 miles ; over tho same course as tho Maiden Steeplechase.

Entries for Maidon Steeplechase, Waitaki County Cup, and Oamaru Handicap, to bo made on or beforo Saturday, 13th July, at 8 p.m. Weights to bo declared on Wednesday, 17th July. Acceptances on or boforo Wednesday, the 24th July, at 8 p.m. AH Entries and Acceptances, accompanied by the Money, in sealed covers, to bo addressed to tho Secretary, at tho Empire Hotel, Oamaru. All Nominators who aro not Members of tho Club at tho time of entry shall pay a qualification fee of £\ Is. All Entries to bo accompanied by a description and name of the Horso, and the colors to bo worn by tho Ridor. All Protests must bo addressed to tho Stewards in writing, accompanied by a deposit of 2 soys, within one quarter of an hour beforo or after the Race, or they will not bo considered ; and if found frivolous or vexatious, tho deposit will be forfeited. Five per cent, will bo deducted from all moneys paid by tho Club. Any Horse found using tho Jumps, or running round after tho Course has been laid out, previous to the Race, will bo disqualified from running during tho Meeting.
