DUNEDIN. January 10.
By the mail yesterday Prolessor Coughtrey received intimation, from the authorities of the University of Edinburgh, that they would recognise him as * lectarer in Dunedin whose lectures would qualify for graduation in medicine in that University, under the Scottish Universities Commissioners' Act of 1858. Complete returns for the Wakatip election giro Manders (Provinoialist), a majority of 61 over Bradshaw.
