This sight of » Frenchman apologising for an ininlt instead of aooepting a challenge is one of so rare ooonrrenoe, that we might almost suggest to Mr. Ayrton that he should make orertures to hare M. Saraey put in a glass oase at the Kensington Museum, and labelled " An apologising Erenohman."
