Oamabu Times Office, Monday Evening. There is no visible improvement in the state of the markets, although as ah ear ing- time approaches a renewal of activity is confidently looked for. We notice with pleasure that the runholders of this district are adopting the system of washing upon the sheep's body, by Alves* patent process. In the grain market the only transactions have been in oats, which show an upward tendency. This grain is now firm at 2s 6d, with indications of improvement.
