Later intelligence lias been received from Wanganui. Thoo. Collins, a settler, was shot by the Hau-haus when going from Wairoa to Patea, and afterwards horribly mutilated, his head being cut off and carried away. Titokowaru's wherabouts are unknown. There is nothing fresh from Napier.
