His sire was tho late horse " Rob Roy," so well-known in the Oamaru and Waitaki Districts. His age, rising 4 years. Color, dark bayj black points. True to collar !

Gibson, Esq., to sell, on tho above day, at tho Wcstorn Hotel, Kurow, All his well-bred two, threo, and four-year-old COLTS AND FILLIES, Also, a few five and gix-year-old, Comprising from 20 to 30 first-class Hacks and Saddle Horsea.
Tho two-years- are broken to lead. The three-years-old and upwards are broken to saddle, and perfectly quiet to ride. Some are broken to harness. Most of these Horsos are weight-carrying and Light Harness Horses, and very suitable for roadsters.
