H.M.S. thip Bernice has been destroyed by fire in the Persian Q-ulf. The frontier at Aden is again in a disturbed state. Fhe garrisons have been reinforced. A British Emboiiy under military escort has gone on a special mission to the King of Burmah. Peace has been concluded between Russia and Bokhara. The Russians retired without interfering rrith the government of Bokhara.
