Since the close of the sales, there h.u been a moderate inqniiy foi all descriptions of wool, and several sales mode at a slight advance on the closing lates of last sales. Theie is a larcje business doing in the North. Manufactuuis are well employed, and the law mateiial is entering into conbumption at a full avciagt; the mills running full time, all have large orders, many for the ppi ing trade. An easier money maiket, with Peace, would cause a
great demand for wool, and we should havo to quote nn ndvimco all lound of Id to lid, and m Port Phillip 2d
