Stud Notice.
A T the Solicitation of Residents in the Moeraki and Shag Valley Districts, we have arranged that ROYAL OAK shall stand at Totara for this Season, and EGLINTON at Moeraki Station. Royal Oak has taken so many First Prizes, both here and in Victoria, that commendation is unnecessary. His Stock are of the largest class, and very docile. Eglinton is a pure imported Clydesdale, from the best blood in Scotland, and well-known as one of the finest specimens of that favorite breed, combining, aa he does, both strength and activity. He is half-brother to Prince Royal, imported by Mr Valpy, and as least as good in every respect. Good Paddocks have been provided for Mares. Every care will be taken, but without responsibility. Terms : — Seven Guineas, groomage included. Mares not proving in foal will be served gratis next season. For further particulars, apply on the Stations. HOLMES & CAMPBELL. Mares left at Totara for Eglinton will be forwarded to Moeraki, and returned when stinted ; and Mares for Royal Oak, left at Moeraki, will bo forwarded to Totara, and returned free of expense.
