ROADS.

(To the Editor of the Oamaku Times.) Sib,— I am hnppy to state that I have learned that two men have been placed on the road at the Lindis l'asi j and although repnirs are commenced when the principal traffic is over, we must not foi get to be grateful even for such attention to our wants. Wo are also favored with the return of the two roadmen who were removed. I have to apologise for ngain trespassing on your apace, aud should not have done so, only that by the delay iu the publication of my last letter it would appear that I was complaining without cause. Yours, &c, George Sumpter. Thames-street, Feb. 28th. 18G6.
