QUARTERLY LICENSING MEETING, OAMARU. FTUIE Quarterly Meeting of Justices for the consideration of Applications for Publicans' Licenses, or for Transfer, Renewal, or Removal thereof, for the Licensing District of Oamaru, will be held in the Court-house, at Oamaru, on the second 3 UESDAY in the month of DECEMBER next, at twelve o'clock noon. Applications must ho prepared in proper form, and lodged with the Resident Magistrate at Oamaru fourteen clear days before such meeting. T. W. PARKER, Resident Magistrate. nnEVDERS will he received at the Office of the Secretary for Public Worts, until noon of MONDAY, the 13th NOVEMBER, for Contract No. 149 : — Erection of FENCE at the WHARE-KURI BRIDGE, on Road " Oamaru to Wanaka Lake." Specifications may be seen, and forms of Tender obtained, at the Office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin, and at the Police Station, Oamaru.

IMPOUNDED, on the 3rd day of November, 1S65, by Mr Peter Orr, one RED COW, branded LH near side, W ofF rump ; one RED COW, branded LII near side ; one BULLOCK, red and white, hooped horns, no brand visible ; also, one STEEit, dark reel, and white, notch on the off ear, staggy horns, no brands visible — owners unknown — for trespassing on the Oamaru Hundreds, for which no damage is claimed. In default of being released, the above cattle will he sold at the Public Pound at Oamaiii, on the 28th day of November, 1865, at 12 o'clock noon. FREDK. COLLIS, Poundkeeper of the Oamaru Pound.
