"Want of space compels us to curtail our notice of the following coses : — H. Solomon, who pleaded guilty to allowing . Ms chimney to be on fire, was fined 10s. and costs. George Dyson. A. M'Kinlay, and Win. Warne were charged with a breach of the Public House Ordinance, for no 1 ; having a Visitors' Book in their possession, accoiding to the Regulations of the Province. Each of them were fined in the minimum penalty of L2 j costs remitted. Stubbs and King v. Hartley (adjourned from last week). — Judgment for 13s. 9d., plaintiffs paying costs. False Imprisonment. — Mills v. Gibson. Damages L50 — arising out of case reported in last week's issue. Case dismissed, plaintiff paying costs of action. Breach of the Peace. — James Gibson was charged by Sergeant James for this offence, and ordered to find sureties for good behavior for six months, which were immediately procured.
