AGRICULTURAL STATISTICS.
The following particulars of the yield of wheat in tho Colony of South Australia for the past seven years, has been furnished to the "Dunedin Herald" by a correspondent, who explains that the decreasing yield is attributable more to the almost utter abseuce of rain during the two months when it is most needed, than to tho land being gradually worked out : —
[In reference to season 1861-2, the total produce is either overstated by two millions of bushels, or the statist has greatly underrated the average yield per acre. — Ed.]
