WOOL ! WOOL ! ! WOOL ! ! ! TO WOOL-GROWERS, MERCHANTS, AND OTHERS, OF OTAGO, CANTERBURY, AND SOUTHLAND. TTWRIVER, MACLEAN AND CO. beg respectfully to inform the WOOL-GROWERS, MERCHANTS, &c, of this and the neighboring Provinces, that on removing to their new and commodious premises in HIGH-STREET, they have made arrangements for holding during the season a series of AUCTION SALES OF WOOL, HIDES, AND TALLOW. It is a well-known fact that in all the Woolproducing Colonies of Great Britain the system of disposing of this staple by public competition has become universal, and has proved eminently advantageous, alike to the buyer and the seller. Nothing can be more desirable than that the wool-growers of the extensive district of which Dunedin is the centre, should be placed in a position to avail themselves of a mode of sale which has been found so useful elsewhere. It is with the view of meeting a want so generally felt, that the undersigned have been induced to devote a large portion of the premises ahove referred to, to the purpose of a WOOL AUCTION MART. It is their intention to conduct this branch of their business in the same manner as it has for years been carried on by their friends and agents— Messrs R. Goldsborough & Co., of Melbourne, and by other eminent firms in the neighboring colonies of Australia. They have also, to ensure its efficient management, engaged the services of Mr W. L. Lees, a practical and experienced Woolsorter, who has been several years employed in the same line by Messrs Goldsborougn and Co. From the arrangements thus completed, the grower, on consigning his Wool to the undersigned, will secure the double advantage of having it placed on view and offered for sale in this market ; and in case of its not being disposed of to meet his views as to its value, of having it shipped under efficient superintendence, either to Melbourne or Great Britain, or to Great Britain via Melbourne. A further and most important advantage will be found in the opportunity now provided for having Wools properly sorted and classified on the spot ; as it has been found by experience that Wools irregularly packed never realise their full valne. On consigning Wools to the undersigned, constituents will please to furnish full particulars of theirclassification, specially distinguishing fleece Wools from lambs, locks, pieces, or broken and mixed. This precaution is required by the necessity of selling these different classes of Wool separately. Wools sent to the undersigned for shipment to Great Britain will, if not specially consigned, be forwarded to their Agents, the well-known firm. MILES BROS. & CO., Of London and Liverpool, In whose hands the interests of the consignor will he secure of careful attention. DBIVEB, MACLEAN & CO., Wool Brokers and Stock and Station Salesmen, High-street, Dunedin.

WOOL ! WOOL ! ! TO THE WOOL-GROWERS, MERCHANTS, AND OTHERS OP OTAGO, CANTERBURY, AND SOUTHLAND PROVINCES.

RGOLDSBOROUGH AND CO., , OF MELBOURNE, Beg to inform the Wool-growers, Merchants, and others of the above Provinces, that they have appointed MESSRS DRIVER, MACLEAN AND CO., Of Dunedin, To act as their Agents for the reception, storage and shipment of all Wool or other Produce intended for sale in the Melbourne market, or shipment to England Referring to the above, we are prepared to make LIBERAL CASH ADVANCES On all Wool or other Produce consigned to our friends, Messrs R. Goldsborotjgh & Co., of Melbourne, which will be offered at their regular Sales or shipped to England on owners' account. Shippers can thus avail themselves of the Dunedin and Melbourne markets, whilst their Wools, if not disposed of, will reach the home market as soon, and with as little expense, as if shipped direct from New Zealand. DRIVER, MACLEAN & CO., High-street, Dunedin.

STATION PROPERTIES— The Undersigned have for Sale several FIRST-CLASS RUNS in Canterbury, Otago, and Southland Provinces with or without Stock. Plans and all particulars can be obtained on application to DRIVER, MACLEAN & CO.,, Dunedin.
