Draft Estimates Presented to County Council

Following are the draft estimates for the year 1950/51 tabled at the meeting of the Mangonui County Council held on Wednesday. These will be studied by the Councillors, and commented upon before being adopted at the next meeting. It is interesting to note that the rates collected represented 57 percent of the total revenue of the County, and this amount ana more was spent on roads, interest and sinking fund, and hospital levy.
